A Celebration of Plants, Creativity, and Community

Plants are more than collections. They are living forms of art, stories, memories, and expressions of passion.

Through this event, we invite plant lovers, collectors, photographers, artists, and creators from around the world to share their perspective through photography.

Plants & Art Photo Contest 2026 is an online photography competition created to celebrate the beauty of ornamental plants while bringing the community together through creativity and visual storytelling.

This competition is not about owning the rarest or most expensive plant. It is about atmosphere, composition, emotion, and the unique way you see nature through your lens.

Participation is completely free, and all submissions will become part of a growing community gallery featured on our platform.

All submissions will be evaluated by our panel of judges based on artistic quality, creativity, storytelling, and the overall presentation of the plant subject.

Public voting may contribute to a special Community Choice Award, while the main winners will be selected by the official judges panel.

Rules & Participation

The competition is open to all plant enthusiasts, photographers, collectors, artists, and creators worldwide.

Participation is completely free of charge.

Participants may submit multiple entries, but each photo may only be entered into one category.

Submitted photographs must feature plants that belong to the selected competition category.

The plant must be the primary subject of the artwork and clearly visible in the composition.

Photos must be original works created and owned by the participant.

Accepted file formats are JPG, JPEG, and PNG. Maximum file size is 10 MB. Both portrait and landscape orientations are accepted. Recommended image dimensions: Portrait (2000 × 3000 px), Landscape (3000 × 2000 px), and Square (2500 × 2500 px).

Editing is only permitted for basic adjustments such as brightness, contrast, color correction, sharpening, and cropping.

AI-generated images, excessive digital manipulation, photo compositing, object removal/addition, or altered visual elements are strictly prohibited.

Watermarks, logos, frames, signatures, or promotional text on submitted images are not allowed.

Participants must provide accurate information during submission, including name, Instagram account, and category selection.

After submitting their artwork, participants must share the artwork on Instagram and tag @de.planter. Instagram accounts must remain public during the contest period for verification purposes.

Participants are encouraged to include the official hashtags #PlantsAndArt2026 and #DeplanterContest when sharing their artwork on Instagram.

By submitting an entry, participants grant the organizer permission to display, repost, and use the submitted images for promotional and exhibition purposes with proper credit to the creator.

Copyright of all submitted images remains with the creator. By entering the competition, participants grant Deplanter a non-exclusive right to display and use submitted images for promotional, editorial, exhibition, and marketing purposes with proper credit to the creator.

Selected submissions may be featured on the website, social media platforms, promotional materials, or future exhibitions related to the event.

Public voting results may contribute to a special Community Choice Award but will not fully determine the main winners.

The organizer reserves the right to request original files for verification purposes.

Any submission containing plagiarism, stolen content, misleading information, or inappropriate material will be immediately disqualified.

The organizer reserves the right to reject or remove submissions that do not align with the spirit, quality, or theme of the competition.

The judges’ decisions are final and cannot be contested.
